Product Strategy for Platforms, APIs & Government Technology
I work at the intersection of product strategy, technology, and complex ecosystems, turning complicated systems and stakeholder needs into products that can scale.
My experience spans government technology, API platforms, partner ecosystems, travel technology, and digital products.
Selected Work
API Platform & Ecosystem | Public Safety Technology
Currently working in product management at Tyler Technologies on API platform and ecosystem strategy within public safety technology. My work sits at the intersection of platform capabilities, integrations, developer experience, partners, and the systems that support mission-critical government software.
Partner Pricing & VAT Implementation
Designed pricing logic for travel partners requiring VAT calculations across multiple jurisdictions. Worked across business and engineering teams to create scalable rules while maintaining consistency across the platform.
Legacy Platform Modernization
Worked with partners transitioning from a legacy excursion platform to a modern system. Reframed individual feature requests around underlying business needs to identify solutions that could scale beyond a single partner.
About Lauren
I'm a product manager with a background that spans government technology, software, travel, marketing, and political science.
I’m particularly interested in complicated product environments: platforms with many stakeholders, systems that need to talk to one another, and problems where the right answer requires understanding both technology and the people or institutions using it.
Today, I work at Tyler Technologies on API platform and ecosystem strategy for public safety technology. Earlier in my career, I worked on travel platforms and integrations and in roles connected to state and local government technology.
My academic background in political science continues to shape how I think about technology, institutions, incentives, and public impact.
I write about product strategy, government technology, AI, platforms, and the changing relationship between technology and institutions.
What I Work On
Platform & API Strategy
Defining product direction for platforms that connect systems, developers, partners, and customers, with a focus on creating scalable foundations rather than one-off solutions.
Ecosystems & Integrations
Thinking beyond individual features to the broader ecosystem: APIs, third-party integrations, developer experiences, partnerships, and the systems that make them work together.
Product Strategy
Turning ambiguous problems into clear product decisions by connecting customer needs, business goals, technical realities, and long-term strategy.
Government Technology
Exploring how technology can better serve governments, public institutions, and the people who depend on them, particularly as software platforms and AI reshape public-sector technology.
I'm always interested in conversations about product strategy, platforms, government technology, APIs, and the future of public-sector software.
